By creating an account or using Scoolingly you agree to these terms. You must use the platform lawfully and only for legitimate school communication.

Your access. You access a school through a code or an invitation from that school. The school controls which learners you are linked to and may update or remove that access; if your last linked learner is removed, your access to that school ends.

Communication. You may receive announcements and messages from the school via in-app notifications, push, and — for important updates — email or SMS to the contact details in your profile. Keep them accurate, and contact the school for corrections.

Acceptable use. Use messaging respectfully and only for matters concerning your child’s school. Misuse may lead to access being revoked by the school or by us.

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, iTsitso Space is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the changes.

We process personal data to provide school communication: names, contact details, class and club membership, messages, attendance, and media you upload. We do not sell personal data.

What we do. Use your data to operate the features you see, secure accounts, meter messaging, and support schools. Your data is scoped to the school(s) you are linked to.

What we don’t do. We don’t sell your data, advertise to you, or use children’s data for profiling. We don’t share data between schools.

Processors we rely on. Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), Cloudflare R2 (media), OneSignal (push notifications), Resend (email), and Africa’s Talking (SMS). Each processes data only to deliver its part of the service.

Your rights. You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data. Parents should contact their school first for learner records; for anything else, contact us at info@scoolingly.com.

We use only the cookies needed to run the app — there are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Essential cookies: your authentication session, the active school (and, in the Parent app, the active learner), your theme and language preference. The Manage console also stores a short-lived two-factor verification token.

Because these are essential to the service, they are set when you sign in. Clearing them signs you out.
